This is my first attempt at a web page.It's still very much under early construction so there's not much here yet.

I intend to set up links to some of my favourite sites which will include scientific , medical , historical , and recreational computer sites (mostly freebie sites for clipart and flight sim goodies).

• Ask Jeeves-A very clever multiple search engine.
• Dogpile-Another multiple search engine with ability to search different types of site such as usenet,FTP & Newswire services to list a few.
• Altavista - A very versatile search engine with many levels of user defined searches.
• Infoseek-fairly simple to use and incorporates a filter that can be activated with one key stroke to prevent viewing of unsuitable material by children.
• Excite-Very good for getting on overview of any subject as listings are highly categorised,a single button -more like this- will redefine a search and search again based on the results of a single original find.

Science

• How Stuff Works-This is a really well presented site with easy to understand and well illustrated articles on everything from batteries to sewerage systems ! My entire knowledge of how to construct this web page in HTML was gleaned from the article on the subject which you will find in the listings.

News

• BBC News-Very comprehensive , if you download realplayer(free),you can watch the 9.00 o`clock news at any time.
